Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how nfiniity GmbH processes personal data when you visit this website, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:

nfiniity GmbH
Fleischmannstr. 25
73728 Esslingen am Neckar, Germany
Email: info@nfiniity.com

Full company details are available in our Imprint.

2. General information

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. The legal bases for processing are set out in the respective sections below.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by an external service provider (hoster) acting as a processor on our behalf. When you access the website, the hosting infrastructure automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits. This may include:

  • browser type and version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the accessing device
  • date and time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR; we have a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and security of our website. Our hosting provider is Host Europe GmbH, Hansestraße 111, 51149 Cologne, Germany. A data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.

4. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, the information you provide (including your email address and the content of your message) will be stored and processed for the purpose of handling your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries under Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. This data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Web analytics with Matomo

This website uses Matomo, an open-source web analytics service, to analyse visitor behaviour and improve our website. Matomo is configured to run without cookies and anonymises IP addresses, so that no direct conclusions can be drawn about individual persons. The analytics data is hosted on Matomo Cloud (InnoCraft Ltd.) as a processor. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR; we have a legitimate interest in the statistical, privacy-friendly analysis of website usage.

6. YouTube video embeds

We embed videos from YouTube, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (domain youtube-nocookie.com), so that YouTube does not store cookies or similar technologies on your device until you start playing a video. When you open a page containing an embedded video, a connection to YouTube's servers is still established, which transmits your IP address and information about the page you visited to YouTube. We have no influence over this data processing. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR, where requested, and otherwise our legitimate interest in an appealing presentation of our content under Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access your personal data (Art. 15)
  • rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
  • erasure (Art. 17)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • data portability (Art. 20)
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)
  • withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3))

To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@nfiniity.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

8. Data security

This website uses TLS/SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. An encrypted connection is indicated by "https://" in your browser's address bar.

9. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our processing activities or to legal requirements. The current version is always available on this page.
